Thomas Nenon has served as provost and executive vice president of the University of Memphis. Nenon is a productive and internationally recognized scholar of philosophy, an engaged and successful teacher at the graduate and undergraduate levels and an experienced administrator who has served in several previous roles before his appointment as provost.

Direct Costs are only those expenses billed by the UofM. Indirect Costs include books, travel and miscellaneous expenses. Indirect Costs are those college expenses not billed by the UofM.

To be considered for these transfer scholarships, students should be admitted to the UofM and submit a complete application by April 1 for fall awards and Dec. Unfortunately, no. UofM scholarship funds are limited and the awarding process is competitive.

Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee a student will receive a scholarship. No, you do not have to re-apply for your Academic scholarship every year. Academic scholarships are renewable for three years and disbursed during the fall and spring semesters only.

Scholarship recipients must take a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.

Academic scholarship recipients must also complete required service hours by the June 1 deadline each academic year. February 1st is the Tiger Scholarship Manager deadline to apply for most highly competitive Freshman, Departmental and Private scholarship opportunities. There will be deadlines that vary, so be sure to read through the detailed information for each scholarship you may be eligible for and keep an eye on Tiger Scholarship Manager for updates. You must first be accepted to the University of Memphis.

Once accepted, you will receive a letter of acceptance with several Post Acceptance Steps; one of which is setting up your UofM login credentials. You will use these credentials to sign into the Tiger Scholarship Manager. Both minimums determine your scholarship eligibility. Merit awards are higher for students who choose to live on campus. Union University will accept superscores for all student standardized entrance exams for undergraduate admissions and institutional scholarship purposes.

Superscoring at Union University means that we will consider student's highest section or subtest scores regardless of test date. The super composite score is calculated as the average of the best section or subject scores. Students who wish to utilize the superscoring opportunity need to request official superscore score reports to be sent to Union University from ACT. Students submitting any standardized test to Union for admission and scholarship consideration other than the ACT who wish to have those scores superscored should notify their Enrollment Counselor.

Due to limited availability of standardized testing during the COVID pandemic, Union University is introducing a test-optional application process for undergraduate applicants. Beginning with students who apply for spring admission and continuing through summer , Union will not require students to submit standardized test scores when applying for undergraduate admission. Students interested in transferring to the University of Memphis are encouraged to apply for scholarship opportunities.
