If you are in Memphis, you have to go to the Peabody. We also stopped as Sun Records and walked Beale Street. Great stop over, just wished we had more time! I found Memphis to be an enjoyable place to visit. We had our Memphis Ribs at The Rendezvous.

It was a good experience, the food was good and within several blocks of our hotel. We also went to the Rock and Soul Museum and toured the Peabody hotel. Enjoyed a little of the night life on Beale Street.

Never used our car at all for this day. The next day we visited Graceland. Enjoyable couple of days. I loved the guest house and Graceland. Memphis needs to clean up. Very dirty City. Beiles street was interesting as the civil rights museum. But the city it's self really needs to pickup the pace and clean up their streets. No parking unless you want to pay. Its major to go into a place to eat if you got to circle and circle or park in a garage. We enjoyed Graceland even though its so commercial but Sun Studios was great.

Beale Street was so-so. We were expecting lots of blues music being played--not. Benches along the street would be great. Lots of homeless and panhandlers downtown area which i am a sucker for! Overall the trip was ok but doubtful it will be on our return list. At least Corvettes and owners from ever where. Great atmosphere- great food and drinks. First time to Memphis- Beautiful!!! Ate at B. Kings restaurant with live wonderful Musical entertainment. This is a centralized property well worth the booking especially if traveling solo as a couple and family with small children.

I would highly recommend the Abode for your accommodation travel. Why stay at hotel when you can have a full secure apartment with surrounding hotels you can venture into. Very Good 27 Reviews. My daughter and I are here for 2 nights. We checked in yday. The 1st 2 rooms we were given had some housekeeping issues. I was ready to pack up, forfeit my first nite there and go elsewhere. There professionalism and wonderful personalities would make u want to stay here They are great!
