All the good stores are gone and been replaced with junky Family and General Dollar stores.
What happen to neighborhood pride, Block parties and driveway cook offs? With more affordable single family housing this neighborhood can be revitalized. There are two rapid trains and a bus route that service this area, connecting it to downtown. I can shop at a chain store or a boutique all in walking distance.
Renters and owners, college students, families, senior citizens, affluent, working class, low income residents, all live in the area.
But everything you need is right there so I came back because of that and I like that they little get together for everyone together and have fun together. Resident 2y ago. I do not have to get on the highway, which is good because there is no nearby highway access.
Traffic moves smoothly everyday. If they do, they pick up after their dogs. There are not a lot of barking dogs. Restaurants nearby are pet friendly.
There is a pet grooming store in the neighborhood as well as a gourmet pet food store. The grooming store has been around for at least 10 years. The pet food store is new. One block may be a loud one and the next one over is a quiet one. This neighborhood has easy access roads to downtown but not as easy access to highways.
