My typical night would be checking ids at the door. Restocking the bar and the doing the dishes. Hardest part of the job was the log hours during season with no breaks, there would be nights involving a 15 hour shift and not one break included.

You go and do what you were hired to do and get your money before you head home. If you want more than your current position you need to say something and have your work ethic back that up.
