While researching venues for this post, I came across a website called Splacer. They rent out event spaces and have some seriously cool spots. Like this gritty, colorful warehouse where you can start with a blank slate and go anywhere from there. This loft space made the list because it has an open layout without being too big and empty.
You will find yourself in a large open loft — which we recently architecturally restored after 2 years of careful renovation. Our mission was on one hand adding contemporary functionality but on the other protecting its charm and patina. The vintage art deco vibes always get me. This cozy bistro bar would be so amazing for a formal winter wedding. Can you imagine decking this place out with holiday cheer? Another excellent Splacer find.
A summer wedding by the pool, anyone? This residential spot in Woodland Hills with airbnb vibes has tons of space both indoors and outdoors. The open kitchen overlooks twin living rooms separated by two fireplaces and sandblasted exposed vaulted wood ceilings. This one is inside a house, so there are plenty of possibilities for ceremony spots, dinner setups, and reception hangouts. Important to note that as of now, they do not have availability on the weekends. Weekday wedding, anybody?
Our garden is a living, breathing exhibit of tropical plants and exotic flowers that features a waterfall grotto for misting meditation, an ethereal fountain and an archaic gazebo.
