Had a situation recently where my colleagues and I were seated by the hostess at Mas Malo and then told that the kitchen was closed. Needless to say we were hungry and upset that we had been told incorrect information. I asked for the manager which I never do and Gilbert mgr came to our table to address the situation.

Mariachis don't need amplification, yet they insisted on being projected through the sound system. We asked if they could at least lower the volume a little.
Have you ever had a horn section next to your head? It's really kind of painful. Nothing against the musicians, they were very good. Just way too loud and totally unnecessarily amplified. Sorry guys! We bailed on brunch.

Food was great drinks are really good great place for a business meeting. The cornbread spinach pancakes are amazing. Taco Tuesday was amazing they have amazing tacos for only two dollars.
I made a reservation for a friend date night and we were seated right away. Our server was attentive and we did not have to wait too long for drinks, food, refills, etc. The one thing I'd warn people about is that it gets very loud with more people in the room, so if you are looking for a quieter spot for conversations this might not be the right fit.
